Langstrath Pattern

Langstrath pays homage to the classic yoked sweater with pretty bands of colorwork and a relaxed fit. Knitted from the top down in Lore, short rows are used to create a flattering, comfortable fit, whilst the body features subtle waist shaping. The traditional corrugated rib with an I-Cord bind-off is the perfect finishing touch.

The Fibre Co. Lore (100% lambswool, 250 m (273 yd) per 100 g hank) in Heaven (A) – 1 [2: 2: 2: 2: 2] hanks, Happiness (B) – 1 [1: 1: 2: 2: 2] hanks and Stable (C) 5 [5: 5: 6: 7: 7] hanks

Sizes and measurements:

Chest / Hem circ: 84 [91.5: 103: 112.5: 124: 131.5] cm (33.5 [36.5: 41.25: 45: 49.5: 52.5] in)
Sweater length (from top along back): 58 [59: 60.5: 61.5: 62.5: 64] cm (22.75 [23.25: 23.75: 24.25: 24.5: 25.25] in)

Recommended ease: 

Designed with 2–4.5 cm (0.75–1.7 in) of positive ease at chest circumference. 

Gauge:

21 sts and 31 rnds/rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 4mm (US 6) needles
21 sts and 26 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over colorwork st patt using 4mm (US 6) needles
