Worked in the round these simple wristwarmers are the perfect introduction to Cumbria Fingering and an opportunity to experiment with cables. The simple cables are easy to work and create a lovely feature on the mitts. The cables can be worked with or without a cable needle, giving you chance to develop your knitting skills.

The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair; 300 m (328 yd) per 100 g hank) in Scafell Pike – 1 hank
Gauge:
29 sts and 40 rnds to 10cm (4 in) measured over st st using 3mm (US 2.5) needles.
