Higham Pattern

This large triangular shawl is worked from the bottom up. The piece starts with the lace border before moving onto the striped body.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair, 300 m (328 yd) per 100g hank) in Purple Moor Grass (A)– 2 hanks and Castlerigg (B) – 1 hank.

The pattern is worked from the bottom up. The piece starts with the lace border before moving onto the striped body.

One size
170cm (67 in) wingspan along top edge and 76cm (30 in) depth.

Gauge:

15 sts and 32 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over g st using 3.5mm (US 4) needles.
