A classic striped raglan that can be part of your everyday wardrobe with ease. Knitting this garments begins with the back, working each section in pieces and using classic raglan shaping. The neckband is worked separately to give structure and a flattering fit.

The Fibre Co. Meadow (40% Merino wool, 25% baby llama, 20% silk, 15% linen, 498 m (545 yd) per 100 g hank) in shades (A) – 2 [2: 2: 2: 2: 3] hanks and (B) – 1 [1: 2: 2: 2: 2] hanks.
Colors:
Photographs show the red/blue sample with a narrow stripe border at the hem and cuffs in shades Indigo (A) and Red Clover (B).
Photographs show the white/black sample with a wide stripe border at the hem and cuffs in shades Silt (A) and Queen Anne’s Lace (B)
Gauge:
28 sts and 40 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st using 3mm (US 2.5) needles.

Recommended ease:

Instructions for knitting the narrow stripe border at the hem and cuffs (shown in the red/blue sample):
- Cast-On: Begin the pattern by casting on with Color B (Red Clover) instead of Color A.
- Ribbing: Work 8 rows of ribbing in Color B.
- Needle & Color Change: When switching to 3 mm (US 2) needles, also switch to Color A (Indigo). Continue working in Color A until you reach the first “Using Color A” instruction in the original pattern.
- Reintroducing Color B: At that point, bring Color B back in. Essentially, Colors A and B are reversed compared to the original written pattern.
- Continuation: Work the remainder of the pattern as written, keeping in mind the color reversals.
